Designed with the modern home dweller in mind, this apartment is utterly elegant yet sports an atmosphere that invites one to simply kick back and feel at ease. Clad in a neutral colour scheme, the abode is made ultra-chic with marble inspired floors and cabinetry works crafted with wood-effect laminates.

With its low cushy couch made comfier with tons of throw cushions, pops of greenery (cushion covers included!) peppering the space, and overhead ambient lighting, the living room is conducive for unwinding. Fronting it is a television feature wall made of veneers that mimic marble’s elegance – a cool contrast to the warm wood tones of the surrounding storage and display cabinet.

Notice the furniture pieces made from timber and designed with black metal accents? As these design elements were applied consistently within the communal areas of the house, this space – from the living to the dining rooms – flows cohesively as one.

Over at the bar counter, track lighting puts the spotlight on this space and sets the right tone for relaxing. An overhead hanging storage makes it easy to reach for a glass of tipple in the evening, while a legit coffee maker that sits on the counter is handy for breakfast or a quick caffeine fix. The adjoining space boasts a sliding door that separates the wet and dry areas of the kitchen – a nifty addition that helps prevent fumes from escaping when the home chef’s cooking up a storm.

Tiny but mighty – the heart of the home is sufficiently equipped and niftily designed to allow prepping, cooking, and washing up without jostling for space. The cabinetry’s timber-meets black style echoes the rest of the abode in perfect harmony.

Here is the couple’s sanctuary, a custom wardrobe that conceals the closet space, as well as the entry to the door, keeps clutter well out of sight. This allows the pair to indulge in the room’s ambience of pure serenity – and fall deep into slumber.
